Tangy mango green smoothie 

This is my favorite smoothie at the moment (it changes a lot!). If it’s a hot afternoon I’ll add more ice for a lovely thick smoothie, but on cooler days or mornings I can’t handle too much ice, so please feel free to adjust to suit your mood. 

I think that’s important with all recipes, for no two people are the same just as we are different to the person we were yesterday. Our needs and tastes change so I feel it’s important to stay present when creating food to customize it to this moment. 

INGREDIENTS : 
1 banana (frozen) 

1 mango cheek 

1 cup of baby spinach 

2 kale leaves, stalks removed

1/2 lemon 

1 Tbsp of coconut oil 

1 cup of water or almond milk 

Hand full of ice 
METHOD:
Peel banana, slice and put in zip lock bag in the freezer for minimum 2 hours.

Remove skin from lemon and stalks from kale leaves. 

Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend till smooth, add more ice if desired. 

Pop in you favorite glass, with a straw and enjoy slowly.
