Nut free bliss balls 

Almost all kids love bliss balls, and they make a quick and easy snack to pack on the go. However there is a lot of “nut free” environments now days so ive tweeked my bliss ball recipe to make it school friendly.

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 C of organic desicated coconut 
  • 1/2 cup of sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • 3 T of raw cacao powder
  • 5 fresh dates 
  • 2 T of coconut oil 
  • Pinch of pink salt 
  • 1-2 T of water 

METHOD: 

  1. Blend all ingredients (except water) in a food processor on high till the nuts are broken down, you can leave them chunky or fine depending on your preference. 
  2. Add water one Tablespoon at a time.
  3. Roll into balls.
  4. Keep in the fridge for 2 weeks or in a zip lock bag in the freezer for 3-4 weeks.
