Ingredients:
Dry-
• 1.5 cups of balanced almond meal
• 1/2 cup of coconut sugar
• 1/2 cup of raw cacao powder
• 1/4 cup of arrowroot flour
• 1 Tsp of bicarb soda
• pinch of pink salt
Wet-
• 2 eggs
• 1/4 of milk of choice
• 1 medium ripe banana
• 1/2 cup of coconut oil
• 1/2 tsp of vanilla
• 3 Tbsp of pure maple syrup (optional)
Toppings-
• 1 cup of raspberries
• 3 Tbsp of melted coconut oil or cacao butter
• 1 Tbsp of cacao powder
• 1 Tbsp of pure maple syrup
Method-
1) Preheat oven to 170 degrees
2) Sift all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
3) Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl or food processor
4) Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well
5) Pour into a brownie tin lined with baking paper
6) Press raspberries into the mixture and bake for 25 minutes.
7) Allow to cool on a rack.
8) Melt the coconut oil or cacao butter over a low heat, mix in the cacao powder or maple syrup and drizzle over the brownies.
9) Store in the fridge. You can reheat them slightly before serving.
