Raw Choc-mint Ganache Tarts

June 1, 2019 by sauchaliving

Self care is so important and it doesn’t need to be extravagant. In fact, self care can be doing what you normally do but with a different intention. For example, we’re probably going to make a hot drink (or 5) at some point in the day […]

Clean Green Pesto Zoodles

January 19, 2017 by sauchaliving

If you haven’t tried zoodles (zucchini noodles) yet you are in for a treat. They are a nice alternative to gluten free pasta on a warm Summer’s night and are a good way to increase your daily veggie intake. This is my basic recipe but I like to make other variations too some are: – baby spinach and tomato stired though. – sundried tomato and fetta  –  pasture raised chicken breast  I actually prefer this one as a side, I […]

When you don’t fit in- fit out!

January 11, 2017 by sauchaliving

How many of you try to fit in but not very successfully? Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you feel like a fish out of water?  There are times when I do. My heart feels heavy, I feel a little anxious and I just want to leave. This happened to me recently. I was watching the people around me and feeling like a didn’t belong- like a fish out of water.  At the time I felt a little […]

️RAW salted caramel cheesecake

January 5, 2016 by sauchaliving

If you have an occasion coming up and want to make something that’s going to please everyone, this is is!  It’s got the WOW factor!  Great for serving to people who are new to healthy living- they will never know the difference!  This makes a small cake (8 small serves but it’s quite rich so a small serve is sufficient)  If you can’t get hold of the caramel chocolate, the dark chocolate alone is lovely. INGREDIENTS: BASE:  1/2 cup […]

Cauliflower pizza – dairy + gluten free + paleo

September 19, 2015 by sauchaliving

Don’t you love plants?? How amazing is it that we can plant a little seed, up it sprouts to produce something as versitle as the cauliflower, that with only a hand full of ingredients gets made into a delicious base for pizza. Ah the amazement of wholefoods still excited me. The base for this pizza is a different texture to your average Italian classic but I find it seriously enjoyable in its own unique way.  INGREDIENTS: 500gm of cauliflower (about […]

Banana Maca Muffins (gluten, dairy refinned sugar free)

July 4, 2015 by sauchaliving

These muffins have a lovely dense texture we all crave when it comes to banana bread, with out all the sugar!  The icing is optional, it makes them feel a little more special but if your pressed for time they are still yummy on their own, or warmed and served with a nob of coconut or grass fed butter.  I’ve added Maca for something different, it gives them a nice nutty flavor, but please don’t feel like you need to […]

June 6, 2015 by sauchaliving

I’m yet to meet someone who doesn’t like a piece of gooey caramel slice, and this one is sure to please! There is something nice about knowing that I’ve got a stash of yummy things in my freezer ready to be paired with a hot cuppa on a winters night  (although this one never seems to last long in my house!)  I hope you love this one as much as I do!  INGREDIENTS: Makes 12 slices  Base- 1 cup […]
